The Enigin

Conversion Optimisation 4

The Web is very important to marketing but involves more than just having a website - it is one of the major ways of communicating with your customers - then it all comes down to converting potential customers into purchasing customers or long term clients.

At Enigin we deal with web based marketing daily and advise all Enigin Distributors and Enigin Partners to use the web for marketing.

Let Us all Save Energy with Enigin

posted by enigin in General

We can all take a part today in being the ones to save energy. It needs to start somewhere. We all need to start somewhere and sometime.

Many people are aware of what is needed. The fact that we need to start learning to be more energy efficient, invest in energy efficient technologies and appliances, recycle more and basically take a more active role in saving energy.

Enigin Saving Energy

Here in the actual Enigin HQ, we are always looking at ways to cut down our carbon footprint, whether its for our own office or developing new products that may benefit other industries.

In every room we have the Enigin ‘Light Energy Saver System’ (LESS) which senses how light the room is, particularly when its bright outside, and adjusts the light fittings accordingly.  I particularly like this feature as I am not a big fan of artifical light but this system works alongside the natural lighting outside which is a good thing to have.

Another bonus to this is that by using less artifical lighting, we are using less electricity and therefore making a significant saving on how much the office costs to run.

Seven Wonders of the World

There was a TV programme on recently in the UK which covered a series of “an Idiot”, as the man was termed, travelling around the world to visit the seven wonders. It was a funny programme, and in some ways he really was “an Idiot”, but it was also very interesting and quite enlightening about these different places.

He was sent on his own to these different countries by a couple of friends who had arranged everything for him, his accommodation, transport and days out. One interesting thing about the programme was that in many ways he explored areas and things that most tourists wouldn’t actually do or see, but there were also aspects which would be experienced by the public if they visited such places.

Enigin - The Dark Nights

posted by enigin in Fun stuff / Personal

Coming to the end of the year in the Enigin office, all Enigin employees are working hard on projects with the aim of rounding them up ready to start the new year with a clean canvas. The afternoons start to get dark at around 4 which instantly makes me sleepy.

I don’t know how those guys in the Nordic Countries deal with it although if you do a wiki search on them, it states that a study of more than 2000 people there found seasonal affective disorder and depression unexpectedly low.  Apparently this could be attributed to the large amount of fish they eat.  So I guess my advice to you today is if you’re feeling a bit depressed cos the winter months are closing in, eat more fish.

Hard Work

Do you find work hard? Getting up in the mornings, getting out of bed, and then a long day ahead of you until finally you get home, have a nice dinner, sit down and relax.

Or are you one of the lucky ones who has managed to find something they absolutely love doing.

Do you in fact, jump out of bed? Skip to your car? Have a huge smile plastered on your face all day, and when you go home, dream about your next day at work?

Water Energy

Did you know of the technologies already available for energy development from water?

Water energy sources can be a way to supply energy without producing any harmful emissions and greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. Some types of water energy sources include tides, waves, currents and others.

Much is actually captured underwater, but how?
