Water Energy

Did you know of the technologies already available for energy development from water?

Water energy sources can be a way to supply energy without producing any harmful emissions and greenhouse gases that contribute to global warming. Some types of water energy sources include tides, waves, currents and others.

Much is actually captured underwater, but how?

For example, capturing underwater energy from currents within the ocean through the use of energy turbines off coasts.

Another energy generation system relies on the surface of the ocean, which is warmed by the sun and a large temperature difference is seen between surface water and deeper water. This difference in temperature provides thermal energy.

There is also mechanical energy available from the ocean. These energy sources include waves and tides.

The problem many scientists are finding with such energy sources is that they are not consistent and hence unreliable. The demand for energy in the world is constantly growing, at the same time as thousands are working hard to contain energy use and save energy.

Here at Enigin we use up to date hardware and software to help businesses save energy and money, while finding new energy saving methods and changing how we all use energy. Meaning that the development of sources of energy, such as from the sea, can be developed overtime by reducing the demand on the current energy supply.
